HSGI TACO MALICE CLIP INSERTION *EASY* (Needle Nose Pliers Only)
Difficult is an UNDERSTATEMENT. It's really stupidly Difficult is what you mean. I have had pouches from 25 other companies and yours is the ONLY one that seems to be hard to do. It is what it is but Bro, you are understating the Difficulty here, for sure!!!! ALSO how do you remove them without cutting them off. NOT A JOKE SERIOUSLY DO A VIDEO>>>>>>>
Yeah this is a horrible design. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Worst purchase I’ve made in recent time lol
And they are a pain in the ass to undo without pliers.
They a real pain to take off and move without breaking
Btw the link is not found.
I'm oddly driven to go hit up the 🌮🚛 now.. 😋 lol.
why do my plastic straps/clips on my taco kydex handcuff pouch have screws through the middle of them with nuts on the backside?
how do you get these things off? Its a one and done thing. guess ill Just have to cut it off and get different ones
I hurt my finger lol
0:21 what an embarrassment in grip
The fact that everyone including me is complaining about being it near damn impossible to remove the clips is hilarious. But yeah once they are on, they are on, basically have to cut them off to remove them and order new clips. Smart marketing there HSG.
Dawg wtf I placed them on the serving spot so I’m fucked💀
Really?
Exactly where I am I put the first one on in the wrong spot cant remove it nad 200$ worth are sitting in a box because it's freaking retarded and I am thinking of selling them off at a loss.
ARE YOU GUYS ASLEEP AT HSG? This is not the back configuration of my HSG double mag pouch! I spend good money an a month in I still do not know how to properly get this attached.
This is absoluty the most confusing thing I've ever tried to do
How the fuck do I get the clip undone
I've had my pouches for a while and have been simply sliding them onto my normal belt. Finally got a carrier and tried to mount these things. What an abortion. Seriously. I already have a very simple idea for improving on your clips. Bring your checkbook and we can talk about it.
This is the most American infomercial. Rock music in the background, and information of tactical gear.
This video is absolutely worthless as they gloss over the hardest part of the entire install and make no mention of the 100% NEED for some good needle nose pliers. If you want to know how to actually install these things, go here: ua-cam.com/video/yLQVB7shsbY/v-deo.html These clips work great and hold the pouches on very securely, but this video is hilariously disingenuous about their installation.
What is the purpose of the god damn screws on the clips???
Okay I have a question. I purchased a “duty pistol taco holster” for my vest and flashlight. Does the clip come with the pouch? Meaning I do not have to purchase the damn Clip separately right?
Seems to be a good tight fit. I’m going to buy some just so I can have the fun installing them.
Best tutorial on UA-cam so far. 👍🏻
Impossible to remove
Ok looks great how do I order?
I have a couple pouches that are made with the velcro for a belt. Im going to buy your battle belt with molle attachments. Can I convert the velcro pouches to work with molle attachment on your battle belt? Should I buy the short molle attachments? Velcro- 3 mag pouch, flashlight, and rifle mag. Thanks!
most unthorough explanation ever
After this nightmare, I will be sticking to Class B's
I’ll just stick with zip ties 🤣
That’s actually a very good idea....
Of course they wont show installing them on an actual plate carrier... literally IMPOSSIBLE! Shouldnt this damb hard!
That’s nice I like taco Tuesdays
Its impossible to remove though lol
You folks charge double what it should sell for. For this price you can buy an real London Bridge Trading carrier that the Seals use
I agree, I run eagle industries ciras. Simple clean and comfortable. I’ve hear nothing but bad from hsgi gear. If the military doesn’t use it. I won’t.
These clips suck @$$. Either make thumb snaps or velcro straps. If you put your MOLLE in the wrong spot with these, have fun spending 10min-20min removing and moving 1 pouch. Trying to find some thumb snaps that fit through their MOLLE.
Problem solved, you just need a mini pry bar. Specifically from BigIdeaDesign. Removing it using only your fingers is almost impossible.
Can they hold standart G36 mags?
easy installation, my ass. Its impossible to get these through without getting a damn migraine!
it's funny they dont show the pliers in the background being used. The trick i find that works for a carrier and space gets crowded is to have one of those heavy hemostats that you can purchase in the fishing department, Clamp with as much meat of the snaps across the thin cut running vertical. Pull down to hover the round aspect that fits the head of the clip and use your other hand(if you have soft fingers use a flat head screw driver) and snap that end in. Even if you get it started you can release the clamp to allow the space you removed from clamping and finish the clip. Using any clamp for that matter- just need use a 90degree angle clip -across the vertical cut - and pull down - start the plug - release the clamp - click it in rest. Goodluck
Single mag pouches are impossible to install. The one I have doesn’t even have the exaggerated stretched out molle in the middle? I can’t even weave the malice clip through it
These clips are garbage. Black zip ties it is.
Love all my HSGI. My favorite is definitely the soft taco. I carry a 1 liter Fiji water bottle on my edc Maxpedition. This thing is seriously a hell of a piece of kit. Use the small pistol taco for my multi tool on the same bag.
Seems silly to wear it above the waist like the video shows. Will the belt require readjusting for size when the liner is added? Is it grippy enough to prevent the belt from coming up while drawing from a holster?
That padding surface is very grippy
Malice clips are a pain in the ass! Much rather use Maxpedition tac ties.
I’m covered in sweat trying to do this
I literally broke out in a heavy sweat trying to lace these things up. I thought it was just me, since I wasn't in the military. It is much more difficult on the laser cut webbing on the back on the bleeder-blowout pouch.
BUDK.COM
Got my set yesterday tool me 10 minutes to put them on my vest. Don't know why people saying it's hard to put on. All I used were long nose pliers 10mins thats it.
The Reaper simple 10 mins that’s it not hard at all
The Reaper I have a buddy with the same vest and Taco’s I tried it on felt good and just did the same to my carrier so I kinda got luck
Where are the videos of your new stuff???
my complaint IS these "new" & "easy" to install plastic pieces of shit clips. No where even remotely close to making it any easier to install. This product is crap.
Just put my gear on my vest in no time. These clips are amazing and HSGI equipment looks great on duty.
There has to be a better and easier way of attaching pouches. I can do it with Malice Clips but they aren't the easiest thing to use.
nice
Still a fucking pain in the ass to install.
